An evocative, spirited and inspiring concert presented by Annie Ma who received her Bachelor of Music Performance with First Class Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, under the guidance of Natalia Ricci.
Annie has been the recipient of multiple national and international piano awards, prizes and scholarships and extended her studies through participating in the Mozarteum Salzburg Summer Academy and the Hochschule She has appeared as a soloist in notable venues such as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall and has given performances abroad in New Zealand and Germany.
Ann Lehmann-Kuit (RMT, MRes (in progress), MCMT, AMusA) is an event coordinator, musician, music therapist and lecturer. Ann plays classical guitar, mandolin & lute and is a poet/ singer songwriter.
She coordinates Jam n Bread, an intergenerational series of free musical community gatherings featuring musicians from different cultural backgrounds. She runs the Folk School and Youth Tradition Awards through the Illawarra Folk Festival. Ann lectures at UOW and WSU, and works at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music as a music therapist and Classical Guitar teacher. Ann is passionate about giving people of all ages opportunities to ignite their expressive confidence and connect through music.
