For over three decades, Peter Sharp’s research has explored how nature works and fits together through the lens of abstraction. Working across drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking, he is less interested in literal depictions than in poetic moments of nature. He has been a finalist in the Dobell Drawing Prize, Sulman Prize and Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and has exhibited internationally.
