Celebrate Spring at the Illawarra Rhododendron and Rainforest Gardens during their Spring Showcase. a magical time in the gardens with rhododendrons, azaleas, vireyas and other spring blooms bursting with colour.
Visitors can wander through the gardens at your own pace on the self guided tour . On the weekends, join the knowledgeable volunteers for a guided rainforest walk, guides sharing insights into regeneration, wildlife and the site’s history.
Make a day of your visit- enjoy a coffee from the coffee van (on weekends) bring a picnic and relax by the lake or find your own secret garden area.
The friendly volunteers look forward to welcoming you, answering your questions and sharing the history and highlights of this much loved hidden treasure. Entry can be paid at the door, with all proceeds supporting their not for profit solely volunteer run garden.
