Like salt preserves flavour, Lucy Honor’s work preserves feeling.
Salt brings together Honor’s recent photography, etchings, paintings and textile work, exploring experiences, places and memories, and the ways they shape us.
Through embroidered textiles, cyanotype photographs and copper plate etchings, Honor considers memory, instability and the slow process of repair. Her works reflect on how we recall and retell personal experiences, and what they leave with us.
