World Tourism Day was 27 September and to celebrate, Destination Wollongong hosted an expert panel of tourism experts including Managing Director of Tourism Australia, Phillipa Harrison, Wollongong 2022 CEO Stu Taggart and leading Australian sports and events executive Geoff
Parmenter.
As NSW begins its roadmap to re-opening, there’s no doubt operating in this climate is new for operators across the state. However there is some light on the horizon for businesses as Australia’s governing tourism body, Tourism Australia, announced its plans for the future.
