Wollongong Town Hall and The Music Lounge will be closed from Mon 29 Jun until 2027 as Wollongong City Council performs HVAC and roofing refurbishments. The show goes on at IPAC!
Merrigong Theatre Company manages the Wollongong Town Hall which is the city’s key civic and community venue and is located within Wollongong’s Arts Precinct.
It comprises four meeting and performance spaces, including the 824-seat main auditorium.
Smaller rooms are able to accommodate 30 to 270 people.
The Wollongong Town Hall is suitable for a variety of performances, functions and celebrations, with four spaces for hire, including the newly renovated cabaret-style venue, The Music Lounge.
