The Illawarra Grevillea Park Botanic Garden is arguably the best of its kind in Australia. Just walking through the gates invites a feeling of getting back to nature. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Illawarra escarpment, and with views of the ocean, this is a plant lover’s paradise.
At every turn, there is something unique to see. It has the quality of botanic gardens, displaying the rare and the beautiful. The park aims to encourage the appreciation and study of native plants. There are barbecue and picnic areas and dogs on leash are welcome.
