Cycling Routes & Mountain Bike Trails

Getting down and dirty: The Cringila Hills Community Park* has 11km of sweeping mountain biking trails, with something for everyone. A pump track and skills track are also being added to the site, while Helensburgh Bike Park provides an off-road option to the north. Funding for a world-class network of mountain bike trails has also been announced for the Illawarra Escarpment.
*The park can close at short notice due to adverse weather conditions, check the website for opening status before visiting.

Rubber on the road: For those with slick tyres, you can tackle a serious climb to the summit of Mt Keira, ride over Sea Cliff Bridge and through our pretty northern villages, take in Lake Illawarra, make the most of our stunning coastal shared pathways, join a cycling tour or hire a bike to explore the city.
