Mount Keira Lookout Get directions Cass Pearce

For some families, the past ten weeks (give or take) have been spent in isolation, juggling homeschooling, keeping everyone entertained, happy and sane – which is a full time job in itself. It’s about time to get out of the house and back in touch with nature – why not take a bush or coast walk?

We’re blessed to live in such a beautiful region, with a range of walks and trails to suit all abilities. You can do a short trek to a waterfall or to a hidden bush chapel, or a medium to long trek in the escarpment or along the coast.

Parent’s Guide Illawarra has pulled together the best, family friendly bushwalks the Illawarra has to offer to give you some ideas for your next adventure – check them out here (Article author: Naomi Cotterill).

Remember: stay safe and please continue to practice social distancing at all times.
