All the Things that Happened is an inquisitive nod to the way narratives compose themselves in the world around us. Through object, colour, character, perspective etc. the imagination has a wonderful ability to piece things together to form our interpretation of what is ‘happening’. There’s often a sense of fun and curiousity to be found in observing a couple on a date, a family dynamic at the beach or the way a house is kept or unkept and wondering ‘what goes on there?’
All the Things that Happened is a roaming narrative, in that each piece links to at least one other, without giving anything away. The audience is encouraged to look on with imagination, find the connections between the scenes depicted and form their own narrative.
