Sky’s the Limit Mini Olympics

Would you like to be a part of the biggest sporting event for people with disabilities in the Illawarra?

Essential Employment and Training are a not for profit organisation dedicated to supporting young people with disabilities with their NDIS services.

Each year they host their annual Sky’s the Limit Mini Olympics event that celebrates the diversity of people living with disabilities by hosting a fun filled day of track and field events catered to all abilities. Starting from its humble beginnings in 2008 with a small group of athletes, it has since grown into the biggest event on their social calendar.

Essential Employment and Training prides itself by involving local high school students to become buddies to athletes, assisting them throughout the day to ensure they get the best experience.

Sky’s the Limit Mini Olympics is an important day for not just the athletes themselves, but for everyone involved, from volunteers, high school students and local businesses and community leaders. Sky’s the Limit Mini Olympics is also an important day that helps create awareness on disability life in a fun and exciting way.
