Ken Unsworth: Maquettes and Small Sculptures

Since 1972 Ken Unsworth AM has been making maquettes and small sculptures. Some have been realised on a large scale as public art works including NIKE in Wollongong 1979.

The works have an element of balance and apparent instability that relates to the performances created in the 1970s. Photographs and video of these early performances are included in the exhibition.

From the late 1970s to today Ken Unsworth has made many kinetic installations, the first of which was A Different Drummer 1976. The animated figures and video of the first performance are also on display.
Curated by Anthony Bond AOM.
