MYGONG - "Go anywhere, anyplace, anytime."
Tourism Wollongong's new initiative - MYGONG, a Mobile Visitor Information service, "Go anywhere, anyplace, anytime."
Tourism Wollongong’s Mobile Information Service MYGONG will provide visitors with an experience similar to one they would obtain when visiting an accredited fixed address Information Centre.
A full range of Information Services will be available from MYGONG including:
- Experience Visitor Information Staff – Face to face local knowledge and advice
- Computer based Internet access – Includes Wotif accommodation booking service
- A selection of local printed materials including - Wollongong Pocket Guides, Grand Pacific Drive, Tourism Passport and Wollongong Maps
- Assortment of Tourism Wollongong Partner materials
- Give-away Promotional Items – Grand Pacific Drive Caps, Drink Bottles etc
There are a number of prime visitor locations across the Wollongong Local Government Area (LGA) that you would find MYGONG at. These could include:
- Bald Hill Lookout - Stanwell Tops
- Sea Cliff Bridge
- Austinmer Beach - Austinmer
- Stuart Park - Wollongong
- Belmore Basin – Wollongong Harbour
- Flagstaff Hill - Wollongong Harbour
- Fern Street Boat ramp - Windang
MYGONG is also present at many local events providing information and giveaways to locals and visitors to the area.
