How to get to Wollongong

Take the Grand Pacific Drive and experience coastal rainforests, quaint seaside villages and the 665 metre Sea Cliff Bridge all on your way into Wollongong. 

Alternatively you can jump on the M1 Motorway from Sydney and be here in 80 minutes. You decide!

If travelling from Canberra, the journey is an easy 250 kilometres via the Hume Highway.



Bulli Pass Road Closure

Roads and Maritime Services will be carrying out the second stage of safety works on Bulli Pass from the M1 Princes Motorway to the hairpin bend.

For the safety of motorists and workers the road will be closed for a period of up to ten weeks to complete the second stage of work, from Monday 28 August to Friday 3 November 2017, weather permitting. Work will be completed as quickly as possible in day and night shifts, seven days a week.

Bulli Pass will be open in both directions over the October long weekend, from Friday 29 September to Tuesday 3 October 2017.

Detours will be in place via Memorial Drive and the M1, or via Lawrence Hargrave Drive and the M1. Motorists should allow an additional 15 to 30 minutes travel time depending on their destination.
