Illawarra 200 Calendar
Illawarra 200 Shared values, shared future
In 1815 some of the Illawarra’s traditional custodians led some white settlers and their cattle down the escarpment. This marked a new chapter in the story of our area, and this new direction that we’re commemorating 200 years
This journey acknowledges the contribution of our indigenous community, early settlers and the many cultures of our region that have sewn the fabric of our history.
The Illawarra 200 Official Calendar includes activities that are focused on the sharing, value and future of one community working together. These events feature unique combined cultural stories.
